Cowboys, Aliens, Smurfs and Love!

In less than 1 hour, the star-studded film, Cowboys and Aliens, will unleash in theatres worldwide…

I had the chance to catch up with the cast and crew at Comic-Con 2011, who diligently worked on this never-before-seen kind of film. They hit the red carpet, pumped up to be a part of this original production. The gritty western and the tech-savvy alien invasion meet and mesh into a storyline with a lot of action and an ounce of love. The big question is, who the heck is going to come out alive? The cowboys…or the aliens? Luckily for the humans, Hollywood heroes, Harrison Ford (Indiana Jones) and Daniel Craig (James Bond), team up to give the aliens an epic beat down. But I’m not sure if that’ll cut it this time, boys!

Director Jon Favreau (Iron Man), producers Steven Spielberg, Ron Howard, and Brian Grazer and some hardcore chicks, Olivia Wilde and Abigail Spencer, add to the list of star power behind the film. The actors/writers/producers indulged their lives in creating the magic you will see unveiled on the big screen.  They told me that the fans were their motivation to keep working hard. This weekend “Cowboys and Aliens,” “The Smurfs” and “Crazy, Stupid, Love.,” go head-to-head in ticket sales and reviews.  Obvi, the films will generate in different audiences, so it’s a matter of who has the bigger fan base.  All I know is that this weekend you can expect a lot of nerd happiness, crazy kids and couples…at a theatre near you.
